Masculinity in the Acting Program: A Longevity Study

by

Janet McDonald

This research is a longitudinal study (three year investigation) which explores the male actors-in-training at USQ. Ongoing interviews as six-monthly intervals ask students to monitor their developing sense of masculinities both virtual (on stage) and actual (real life). This is a unique research project that relies specifically on the "memory" and public display interpretations of memory by these young men.
June 2004-January 2007.
